About the drive
Seven hours with two stops, and the road is good the whole way — Ajmer, Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, then the last hour through the hills into Udaipur. It is a long day, so we plan it as one: leave Jaipur at six, lunch at Chittorgarh, and you are at your Udaipur hotel by two or three in the afternoon.

Is a one-day Jaipur to Udaipur drive comfortable?Yes, with an early start and two stops. Seven hours of driving; leaving at six means arriving mid-afternoon with the day still usable.
Can we add Nathdwara or Ranakpur?Nathdwara is right on the road and easy. Ranakpur and Kumbhalgarh are a different route and make it a much longer day — we will quote it as a two-day trip instead.
Does the same driver stay for a round trip?Yes. He stays with you in Udaipur and drives you back. You are never handed to a second car partway.
